ABOUT US
For nearly ten years A Better Tomorrow has provided a free education for the poorest, most vulnerable and excluded groups. In 2005 the project built its first school in Mirpur, Azaad Kashmir. We offer innovative and quality teaching to over 350 5-16yr olds. We also offer scholarship programmes for the most promising individuals to further their studies at college and university.

Beyond the school we have a Community Food Outreach programme which provides food and supplies for vulnerable families. Our Sewing and Skills Training Centre helps empower widows, abandoned adults and single mothers and our Night School provides a free education for working adults and teens.
A Better Tomorrow employs over 18 members of staff and we aim to recruit highly motivated teachers who themselves come from challenging and vulnerable backgrounds. A Better Tomorrow staff are inducted into a programme of continued professional development and are provided with training and support from teachers based within the U.K. Our Training and Co-ordination team organise workshops and mentor new recruits.
A Better Tomorow takes a grassroots approach to all its work and we have a dedicated team who help enrol the most vulnerable and talented pupils from the local area. We have a history of excellent results and help facilitae opportunities for employment beyond the school.
